   Officially founded in February 2026 in Winnsboro, SC, Fairfield Mobile Alterations is led by owner Diana Smoot Olan, who brings over 55 years of experience in clothing construction and alteration services. A graduate of Marshall University in Huntington, WV,  with a degree in Vocational Home Economics, she received extensive technical training in clothing construction. Her passion is rooted in a rich family tradition of quilters and master seamstresses. From receiving her first sewing machine at age five, her journey has been one of lifelong creativity and craftsmanship. She passed this legacy on by educating 100s of students for 40 years as a Home Economics Teacher; culminating her career at Fairfield Middle School in Winnsboro, SC in 2025. She has been providing sewing and alteration services to the SC midlands area from Charlotte, NC to Columbia, SC and everywhere in between for the past 11 years and decided to make it official after retirement.
